I am so excited to start this blog with some really big news!
I’m thrilled to announce that I will be writing a new young fiction series for Stripes Publishing. The series is called Pooch Palace and it’s about the adventures and misadventures of nine-year old Abi and her ‘bouncy cloud on legs’ Bichon Frisé dog, Lulu, while they spend the summer at a luxury dog grooming parlour, dealing with film stars, celebrities and a lot of naughty pooches.
Pooch Palace is more than just a grooming parlour – it’s doggy heaven! It offers all the top services that you would expect in a luxury grooming parlour, from bubble baths to manicures, but there are lots of extras, too, such as doggie daycare, pet parties, and even portrait painting and photo sessions! It’s a popular place, so Abi’s going to have a very busy summer!
I’m having so much fun working on these books, and just the best time researching all the doggy characters that star in them. From videos of cute doggy antics to cuddling tiny pug puppies and visiting grooming parlours, I’ve been loving every minute of it! And I plan on sharing all my best research with you, here on the blog, as we get closer to the release of the first two books in March next year. I hope you have as much fun as I’m having!
