Love, Lies and Lemon Pies

Love, Lies & Lemon Pies coverSixteen-year-old Lottie is on a mission to protect her biggest secret, and it’ll take every lie and every baking trick she can muster.

One year on from her father’s death, the school counselor is on her back about her slipping grades and refusal to take part in school activities. All of which Lottie could handle, if they weren’t threatening to pay her mum a home visit.

So Lottie agrees to join Bake Club, relying on the recipes her dad taught her to help the other members take part in a national baking competition. But from the very first chocolate chip cookies, it’s clear that she’s not the only one keeping secrets…

Recipe for success, by Lottie (16)

  • One newly formed Bake Club
  • One gullible school counsellor
  • 3 girls with secrets
  • 1 cheerful Goth
  • 1 bad boy
  • Two cups of lies
  • A spoonful of secrets

  1.  Join Bake Club to get the school counsellor off your back
  2.  Make friends, but don’t get too close
  3.  Find out everyone else’s secrets (but don’t give up your own)
  4.  Bake delicious treats to win national competition and get on TV
  5.  Try not to fall in love with the bad boy…

  1. This is one of my favourite books ever and Secret, Schemes and Sewing Machines is just as amazing. You are an amaizng author and have you considered making a wattpad because you would get soooo many folloowers X

  2. I’m so annoyed I’ve reached the end! I was so enjoying it and then I looked and it said 1 page until the end! 😑 Great book! Please realise love, lies and lemon pies 2!!! 😂

  3. This was a really good book I don’t read much but when I got into it it was quite for me to put down I think it would be great if there was a sequel about
Lot tie and Mac in Paris . I hope you think about making a sequel and I think I’m going to start the sewing machines lol 😂 A trip to the library will be needed

    1. I’m so happy you got so into the story! I hope you enjoy Secrets, Schemes and Sewing Machines too – it’ll tell you what happened next for Mac and Lottie.

    1. It depends who you ask. Mac obviously thinks so. Grace probably doesn’t. To quote the cliche, beauty is in the eye of the beholder… it depends on the person looking at her!

  4. Please write a sequel to Love, Lies and Lemons Pies – it is my all time favourite book and I am on the final chapter and am very upset that my journey with Lottie and Max will be over 😭

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed the book so much! There is a sort of a sequel – Secrets, Schemes and Sewing Machines – which is told from Grace’s point of view, but definitely covers what happens next for Lottie and Mac!

  5. This is an AMAZING book!!! I would love to know the details of Paris! I have read Secrets, schemes and sewing machines and I loved it aswell! Congrats on writing two amazing books!
